Eligibility to attend Mustang Unleashed:

Mustang EcoBoost and Mustang GT owners who have taken delivery of a qualifying 2025 or 2026 Model Year Mustang are eligible to attend Mustang Unleased. One (1) Mustang Unleashed visit is included with a vehicle purchase and is available to the original vehicle owner. You must be a resident of the United States.

Please note: Complimentary Mustang Unleashed owner credits for 2024 Model Year vehicles have expired and may no longer be redeemed. Please check out our Ford Experiences website for other Experiences available.

Vehicle ownership is verified by VIN number. Only one owner/eligible participant* per vehicle/VIN number is eligible to attend.

*List of eligible participants who can attend in place of the owner:

Members of the immediate family of the buyer. “Immediate family” means the following relatives of the buyer:

• Spouse
• Parents
• Spouse’s parents
• Grandparents
• Spouse’s grandparents
• Sons and daughters (including in-laws and stepchildren)
• Grandchildren
• Brothers and sisters (including in-laws, half, and step)
• Same-sex domestic partners
• Immediate family members of same-sex domestic partners

For eligible Mustang GT owners, we recommend the Road Course or Drag Strip program, but as an owner you can choose any one of the three available programs.

For eligible Mustang EcoBoost owners, we recommend the Mustang Immersion program, but as an owner you can choose any one of the three available programs.

Yes –  you may bring ONE paying guest to the program day.

Guest Experience // +$195

Eligible guests will be able to participate in all program activities. The Owner and Guest will share drive time throughout the day.

Please see the “Are there age requirements?” section for additional details regarding minimum ages for eligibility.

*IMPORTANT: If you do not select the GUEST OPTION, you understand that no additional person(s) will be allowed to attend the Drive Day activities. This will exclude all other person(s) besides the registered Owner from classroom sessions, on-track experience, and meals.

No – We provide all cars for the Mustang Unleashed program.
You are welcome to bring your own car but for safety reasons, it is best to keep it parked.

Yes – We provide one-layer driving suits, helmets, and HANS devices for any on-track activities. Participants are welcome to bring their own helmet if it is rated Snell SA 2015 or better with an IMSA style radio connector and has HANS device clips. If you bring your own helmet, bring your HANS to make sure the clips match up (You will have to use our helmet if our HANS does not clip into your helmet).

Participants will spend roughly 20% of the time inside the classroom, including lunch. The remaining 80% of the day is spent behind the wheel, shared between the owner and guest. These times are approximate and may vary slightly.

Yes – Participants (Owner or Guest) must be at least 16 years old and possess a current, valid driver’s license to participate in any behind-the-wheel activity. Drivers under 18 will need to have a parental consent form signed on-site.

The minimum age for non-driving guests is 14+ years, and does allow for ride along on a demo lap.

Yes – Embassy Suites Charlotte-Concord Golf Resort & Spa and Marriott Courtyard Concord – Host Hotels of Mustang Unleashed are located less than 10 minutes from the Wheelhouse Welcome Center.

No – It is the participant’s responsibility to secure transportation during their stay. We recommend you elect to rent a vehicle, or use rideshare (Uber/Lyft) services, which are readily available to/from the hotel and in the local area.

Available for Road Course and Drag Strip classes only.

There is an option to purchase a property damage waiver to limit financial responsibility for damage done to the Ford Mustang used in the Mustang Unleashed program. Without the limited liability, the student assumes full financial responsibility up to the vehicle’s full replacement value for any and all damage they do to the vehicle.

This option can be purchased during registration, on this website, prior to attending, or at check-in upon arrival. 

Mustang Unleashed Event Waiver/Liability:

VEHICLE DAMAGE WAIVER:

Participant acknowledges and agrees that participating in events at Wheelhouse is inherently dangerous and assumes all risk of loss, except to the extent of Wheelhouse’s gross negligent or willful misconduct, incurred in connection with or otherwise related to participation in events at the Wheelhouse. In consideration for Wheelhouse to agree to allow Participant to drive, practice, qualify and/or race in its vehicle and on its track, Participant agrees to hold harmless, indemnify and defend WH against any and all claims, demands, actions (including attorney’s fees and costs) liability, losses, damages, injuries (including, without limitation death and dismemberment) and accidents of whatever kind resulting in any way from participating in events at WH. Participant further understands and agrees that he/she assumes full financial responsibility up to full replacement value of the WH vehicle assigned to Participant (as described below) for any and all damage Participant does to the vehicle. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Participant may elect (where designated herein) a property damage waiver option and pay an additional fee to limit his/her financial responsibility to Six Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($6,500.00) for damage done to the vehicle.

POLICIES:

1. PARTICIPANT AGREES TO ASSUME FULL FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY UP TO THE LIMIT AGREED FOR PROPERTY DAMAGE. PARTICIPANT ALSO AGREES TO FULL FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR PERSONAL INJURY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE EVENT(S) WHETHER CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF PARTICIPANT OR OTHERWISE. ONLY PARTICIPANT NAMED ABOVE IS AUTHORIZED TO DRIVE THE ASSIGNED VEHICLE.
2. IF THE VEHICLE SUFFERS MECHANICAL FAILURE, WHEELHOUSE WILL PROVIDE, TO THE BEST OF THEIR ABILITIES, A BACK-UP VEHICLE.
3. AT ANY TIME, AND IN ITS SOLE DISCRETION, WHEELHOUSE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REMOVE THE DRIVER FROM THE VEHICLE FOR ANY REASON. WHEELHOUSE ALSO RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DECIDE WHETHER OR NOT TO PROVIDE AN ADDITIONAL VEHICLE AS BACK-UP, RESULTING FROM ASSIGNED VEHICLE BEING DAMAGED. ANY ADDITIONAL VEHICLE ASSIGNED WILL REQUIRE AN ADDITIONAL LIMITED LIABILITY FEE, IF OPTION IS SELECTED, OTHERWISE, PARTICIPANT WILL BE FULLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE NEWLY ASSIGNED VEHICLE. REFUNDS WILL BE AT THE DISCRETION OF WHEELHOUSE.

Cancellation:

Cancellation requests received more than 31 days before your event will receive a 90% refund on Mustang Unleashed upgrades.

Rescheduling:

Reschedule requests received more than 31 days before your event will receive a one-time credit toward attendance at a future Mustang Unleashed as long as the date falls within 12 months of the Ford Mustang delivery date. A $150 rescheduling fee will be charged.

No refund or credit toward a future program will be offered if a cancellation or request to reschedule occurs less than 31 days before your event. Failure to appear will result in forfeiture of all event fees and the ability to attend future Mustang Unleashed programs.

The Mustang Unleashed Driving Experience is an all-weather program. If extreme weather conditions prevent Wheelhouse from safely executing the Event, every effort will be made to reschedule the Event. Wheelhouse reserves the sole right to determine whether an Event will be canceled due to dangerous weather conditions.

Comfortable, seasonal attire is recommended. Wear soft-soled shoes, such as driving or tennis shoes. Open-toed shoes are not allowed. For Road Course and Drag Strip Experience participants, you will be wearing a racing suit – please wear appropriate undergarments. Shorts and undershirts are a good option.

Driving Day:

You will start and finish your driving day at the Wheelhouse Welcome Center and classroom building. Check-in will open between 7:30 a.m. – 8:15 a.m. with the day finishing between 4:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., depending on the program selected.

Charlotte Douglas International Airport is 35 minutes from the Wheelhouse facility.

New class dates will be released as classes fill up. You may request to be notified when tickets are available by adding your name to the email list under the specific class registration page in the schedule calendar.

Communications and Privacy

By registering for schools and driving experiences, you agree to receive email and print communications from Wheelhouse related to this registration and related to future sales, marketing, and informational communications. All correspondence, schools, and courses will be communicated in the English language.
